About Me: Katelyn Haugh MA, LPC
(She/Her)
Hello! My name is Kate. I am a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I am passionate about working with teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I was drawn to pursue therapy as a career because of its focus on human-ness, and because of the self-discovery, change, growth, and sense of inner-peace that therapy provides. I am drawn to my areas of specialty because of the joy I have come to know by witnessing the power of people's stories throughout my life and career, and because of the deep and personal meanings my specialties hold.
I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Arcadia University, where I concentrated in Mental Health Counseling, Trauma, and Child and Adolescent Counseling. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups of many backgrounds in inpatient treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs, and private practice, and have received hands on training in my areas of specialty. Prior to my graduate training, I attended Chestnut Hill College, where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

In addition to working directly with clients, I believe that an equally important aspect of this career is advocating for change, transformation, justice, and equity on societal and systemic levels.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I love connecting with nature, nurturing my artistic and creative sides, and venturing out to new and familiar places and exploring what this world has to offer.
Here are the values that guide and inform the way I approach my work:
